Clay Pigeon Shooting – Toddington

BRAND NEW FACILITIES

We now offer practice facilities at our Clay Pigeon Ground.

Clay pigeons are launched using the excellent and highly reliable WICLAY system which supports solo shooters wanting get some practice on their own.

After depositing your shotgun/firearm certificate to us we issue you with a card which will allow you to launch clay pigeons on demand on each of our stands. Each stand will tell you how many clays you have used.

When you are finished shooting you simply return the card to us and pay for your clays.

We regularly change the angles, arcs and layouts of our traps to keep things challenging.

We are currently in the process of adding additional stands and FAC Flurry facilities.

We welcome the use of Section 1 shotguns onsite and you are permitted to load more than two cartridges should you wish. This has been specifically added to our insurance policy. Guns must not be carried with any cartridges present in the magazine or chamber from stand to stand and all guns must be pointed in a safe direction at ALL times.

All shotguns must be open and unloaded when not on the shooting stands, breech flags are required for all pump action, lever action and semi automatic shotguns.

Guns should be carried on site unloaded and in gun slips when not in use.

Safety regulations are posted all over the site and on each stand. We operate to strict rules of safety and will revoke the membership of anybody found flouting these rules.

CCTV Cameras are present on site and on each clay stand for everybody’s safety.

We hold a current Section 11-6 on site which covers the use of Section 2 Shotguns by those who do hold a shotgun certificate but please note you must not allow any guest or visitor who does not hold a current shotgun or firearm certificate to shoot unsupervised.

We cannot permit our customers to allow anybody who does not hold a certificate to shoot onsite unless supervised by one of our staff unless you are a member of our shooting club.

Head protection is highly recommended on the clay pigeon ground due to flying / breaking clay fragments.
