Fullbore Rifle Shooting

Full Bore Rifle Range (Minsterley Ranges)
​
We operate our Full-bore shooting at a dedicate range operated at Minsterley Ranges.
​
There are excellent shooting facilities with 50 meter and 100 meter ranges
We currently organise six full bore shoots per year and notify the shoot dates every six weeks.

We regularly add new firearms to the list of club guns and in the interest of safety and limited the number of firearms on site we do not normally carry all of the above firearms on site at the same time.

To make everything a little easier for our probationary members we offer two “ammunition bundles” with a selection of every caliber to ensure you get the most our of your day and get to experience all the calibers we have to offer.

Important!

No club live ammunition of any kind is permitted to be removed from the ranges under any circumstances – If we have reason to believe ammunition has been taken we will inform the Police immediately
It is illegal to be in possession of Section 1 Ammunition without a current firearm certificate.
​
Authorised calibers on this range
Any Section 1 or Section 2 firearms up to a maximum of 10,000 ft lbs of muzzle energy.
This includes up to and including .338 Lapua
​
Please note bird shot or buck shot is not permitted on the rifle ranges – the only shotgun ammunition permitted for use on the rifle ranges is solid slug ammunition.

Safe Supervision
Our Full Bore shooting activities are only permitted to be operated under strict safety conditions and are under permanent supervision by our team of Range Officers who ensure safe shooting conditions.
​
Our staff all wear identity badges clearly stating their position and authority on the ranges and it is essential that their instructions are immediately followed

SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT AND OUR PRIMARY CONCERN

Eyes and ears everyone!
​
Ear and eye protection must be worn on site. Gunfire can be extremely harmful to your hearing and eye protection is a must.
